International Volunteers Program aims to foster cultural exchange, strengthen community engagement, and provide meaningful opportunities for personal and professional growth for both volunteers and the communities they serve. The GIFE’s International Volunteers Program seeks to bridge this gap by welcoming volunteers from around the globe to participate in community development projects, immersing them in Kenyan culture, and contributing their unique skills to make a positive impact. Kenya, a vibrant and culturally rich nation, is home to diverse communities eager to share their traditions and experiences with the world. However, limited opportunities for international interaction often hinder cross-cultural understanding and collaboration.

The International Volunteers Program seeks to promote cultural exchange and understanding between volunteers and Kenya-Coastal communities, enhance the capacity of community organizations through the skills and expertise of international volunteers, to provide volunteers with hands-on experience in community development and cross-cultural engagement as well as fostering a spirit of global citizenship and social responsibility among volunteers.
The International Volunteers Program will offer a range of activities to enrich the experience of volunteers and maximize their contributions to the community.
