Women in Kenya’s informal settlements face various challenges, including limited access to education, healthcare, economic opportunities, and decision-making power. These inequalities hinder their personal growth, economic well-being, and overall contribution to society. This project seeks to address these challenges by providing women with the necessary tools, resources, and support to reach their full potential.

Wezesha Mama’ aims to empower women to manage their finances effectively, access credit, and build sustainable livelihoods, foster a supportive network and mentorship and advocate for gender equality and women's rights by raising awareness about gender-based inequalities and advocate for policies promoting women's empowerment.

This initiative presents a comprehensive approach to empowering women in Kenya by addressing various challenges and fostering their social and economic participation, the project contributes to a more inclusive, equitable, and prosperous future for all.
